In 1981 Solis Foods was founded by Juvenal & Elsie Solis shortly after they immigrated to Canada from Mexico, bringing with them their passion for fresh, authentic Mexican food.

Fast forward to May 5, 1995 new owners purchased the company and operations were moved to St. Mary’s Ontario. Over the next 22 years Solis has grown from itts country roots into a full sized food manufacturer purchasing established brands from Unilever, ConAgra and Ralcorp.

Today Solis Foods has 3 manufacturing plants, over 200 employees and has products distributed around teh globe. Solis adheres to the most stringent SQF and HACCPP manufacturing practices producing premium food products for Foodservice, Private Label, and Retail settings using the finest Canadian grains.

Solis Foods has grown to become a premier Canadian manufacturer of high quality snack and grain-based foods for in home and out of home consumption.
